March 27-April 1

Psalm 11 – In the Lord I take refuge.

This week we pray for…

  • all students during this week of Spring Break, that they would find rest where they are weary and rejuvenation where they need renewed energies.
  • safety, fun, community, joy, wonder, and gratitude, wherever Spring Break plans take students.
  • the students and staff going on Impact service and learning trips this week to Spokane, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala, that they would listen, learn, and love well, that they would grow in their sanctification by the Spirit of God, and that God would inspire them with his heart for this world God loves.
  • the 75+ students and staff going to serve at Young Life’s Washington Family Ranch camp with 4 other universities this week, for meaningful Christian community, for growth with Jesus, and for the accomplishment of good work as the camp prepares for summer.
  • for renewal for faculty and staff most of whom will experience a different rhythm but continue to work during Spring Break, that they will find what they need during this week and finish the school year well.
  • safety, hard work, and growth in grace and maturity for spring student athletes, that no harm will befall them or their opponents, and that they will bear witness of the goodness and love of Christ in their athletics.

Father God, we praise you for a new season! All around us is evidence, of not only your existence, but that you are a good God. You are the creator and sustainer of all we can see and cannot see. You are the source of our lives. You teach us what real love is. We thank you and praise you this day through Jesus Christ our Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit.
