Remembering Your Greatness!

March 26-April 1

Scripture:
Psalm 77:11-14 (NIV)
I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds. Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the people.

Prayer:

  • Pray as students return from Spring Break that they are refreshed, renewed, and restored.
  • Pray for students who may be struggling and discouraged; ask that they be reminded of God’s faithfulness and mighty deeds.
  • Pray for students to remain motivated and encouraged while they move forward in their studies, and ask that they have confidence and trust in God’s Word.
  • Pray for faculty to continue to have guidance and divine support as they prepare lectures and exams for students.
  • Pray for the Whitworth community to continue to let the light of God shine in the minds and hearts of those on our campus.
  • Pray for President Beck Taylor as he continues to seek spiritual wisdom, understanding and knowledge of the best direction and vision for Whitworth University.
  • Pray as we gather March 27 for community worship, at which Katie Litzenberg will share with us from the miracles from Mark’s Gospel, “Healing the Blind Man.”
  • Pray for students March 27 as they gather to praise and worship God at Hosanna.
  • Pray for our musicians, leaders, and listeners as the Whitworth Wind Symphony’s spring concert takes place on April 1 at the Martin Woldson Theatre at the Fox.
  • Pray for Initiative 5.1 of the Whitworth 2021 “Courage at the Crossroads” strategic plan. Ask God to encourage those who work to support, strengthen, and foster the integration of the liberal arts across the curriculum.

Thanksgiving:
Lord, we are so thankful that we remember your deeds and that we are witnesses to the miracles that you perform even today. Help us, Lord, to meditate on your word and on your mighty acts. We are grateful that you display not only your power but your love among your people.
