Staying on Track

Oct. 3-10

Scripture:
Psalm 71:14 (NLT)
But I will keep on hoping for your help; I will praise you more and more.

Prayers:

  • Pray for our students as they continue the hard work of studying. Pray that they will be motivated to stay focused and on track.
  • Pray for Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 8-9, asking that the alumni will enjoy this time of reconnection with friends, faculty and staff.
  • Pray for the Pirate football team as the young men play their Homecoming Game on Oct. 8 against Pacific Lutheran.
  • Pray for the swim team and the cross-country team as they compete in meets on Oct. 1 and Oct. 8.
  • Pray as the campus celebrates the opening of the William P. and Bonnie V. Robinson Science Hall on Oct. 8.
  • Pray for the science faculty who teach and mentor our students in the new Robinson Science Hall.  Pray for patience and endurance during this time of transition in a new facility.
  • Pray for Initiative No. 3 in the Whitworth 2021 Vision and Strategic Plan, “Courage at the Crossroads,” as Whitworth prepares students for global citizenship; ask that our students be equipped with the knowledge, skills and values they need to communicate, work and serve in a global environment.

Thanksgiving:
We are so very thankful that we are examples of God’s workmanship, created in Christ to do good works here at Whitworth as well as in the community and across the globe. We are also thankful for God’s faithful provision of the new Robinson Science Hall.
